from a record player deck, a glowing and revolving fibre-glass fake fire
with plastic cows stuck on it. From headphones, the sound of the Oasis song,
'Live Forever' could be heard droning at half speed. A reference to the
stubborn national arrogance during the British beef crisis paralleled in
the attitudes surrounding the 'Britpop' music phenomenon.
